Bronx River High School, along with all of the schools in our building, is a cell phone free zone. Students are not allowed to bring their cell phones into the building with them, or use them throughout the school day. We understand that many families want their students to have a cell phone while traveling to and from school. As a courtesy, Bronx River High School will store student electronics during the school day for free.
Students will be provided with a padded envelope with their name on it that they can bring to school every day. Students will place their phone in the padded bubble bag and deposit it in the metal vault located in the main vestibule before entering the building. Cell phones will be sorted by last name and distributed at dismissal.
If students do not want to store their phone at the school, there are several local businesses that will store cell phones for a small fee. We are not responsible for lost or damaged phones.
